Question Any Advice?

I have been searching for someone, thus far all the searches have resulted in bogus addresses. Telephone numbers (land lines) are registered to another party who has no knowledge of this subject. Four different cell numbers have had the service suspended. A trace using the social security number also returns the same bogus addresses and telephone numbers. I have not been able to find any alias associated with the social security number. The history only covers the past three years, no prior information seems to exist.

He has been missing since February although has made enough contact, letters mailed from random locations, to let people know he is safe. I do not know of any family members to contact and mutual friends have not heard or seen from him.

Any suggestions what avenue I can pursue next?

I appreciate your thoughts!

Interesting. I am searching for my neighbors with no success. The deed to the house they supposedly own is registered in someone elses name. (actually the business name) I have had the same luck as you. Everything turns up bogus. And the post office has no forwarding address. Good Luck. Maryca.

Cool Missing Person

Hello Sapphire,

There is a lot of variables here.

Often when the relationship is known between the subject and the person ultimately trying to find them, it answers a lot of questions.

However, you did mention one important bit of information.

"He has been missing since February although has made enough contact, letters mailed from random locations"

In a nut shell, if a person doesn't want to be found and travels around quite abit, it makes finding them a very difficult task. Often, IF after a locale is established for the subject, surveillance would be the key.

There was another key question I have. You stated "Addresses returned are mail box services in Florida". What exactly do you mean addresses returned? Do you mean addresses returned From a database search conducted by ssn, name, etc., or from an Ancillary Service Endorsement?

Does subject have criminal history or mental illness?
what kind of work does the subject do?
Are they collecting social services?

Many other questions....

Hello maryca,

When you say you are searching for your neighbors, could you please clarify exactly what information you are looking for?

Hi RC

Thanks for your response...

"Often when the relationship is known between the subject and the person ultimately trying to find them, it answers a lot of questions."

We are in a relationship, although I would have to say not fully defined by any means; we had daily phone calls and emails. We visited each other every 6 weeks (live in different states). Met through a friend, not an internet situation.

"In a nut shell, if a person doesn't want to be found and travels around quite abit, it makes finding them a very difficult task. Often, IF after a locale is established for the subject, surveillance would be the key."

I haven't been able to validate a locale where surveillance would be a course of action.

"There was another key question I have. You stated "Addresses returned are mail box services in Florida". What exactly do you mean addresses returned? Do you mean addresses returned From a database search conducted by ssn, name, etc., or from an Ancillary Service Endorsement?"

The address was returned from a few different database searches. I searched on the address and found them to be mail box services, in a shopping center.

"Does subject have criminal history or mental illness?"

No criminal history that I know of - mental illness could be a possibility, I do mean that respectfully. One of the letters indicated that he had a breakdown of sorts although no specifics were given and he indicated he was receiving help, again no specifics.

"what kind of work does the subject do?"

self employed real estate although not a licensed broker - I have found some leads in this area although most have proven futile, more bogus telephone numbers, invalid email addresses

"Are they collecting social services?"

not that I am aware of

The more I search, the more dead ends appear

Thanks again for your input

Sappire,

Try Ancillary Service Endorsements to all the addresses you have even if they are mail drops.

Exclamation

Addresses returned are mail box services in Florida, yet the cell phones were registered in Alabama. He has an AZ license (# unknown to me). Supposedly he owned property in VA, FL, AZ and CA, I have not been able to confirm property ownership.

Contact the AZ DMV and see if they have a current address on him. You should be able to pull the form for this info off of their website and mail it in. Fill out as much as possible for them.

As far as the properties are concerned, if you know what counties in those states they are supposedly located in, then contact the local Recorder Of Deeds. You should be able to do a name search on their website(s) to see if any hits come up. If you do not know the counties, then you'll have to o a search of every county ROD in those states.

Good luck.

Pat

Default Thanks Pat

Hi Pat

I have searched the properties and alas none of which appear to be owned by him, at least not according to the tax records.

I haven't had much luck with the AZ DMV either... I have not been able to find a means to request current address info, I do not have his driver's license #.

Thanks for the input I appreciate your reply~
